No. A blocked or collapsed line must be mechanically cleared and/or repaired before using maintenance products. RootX and Grease-X are used to maintain lines and help reduce recurring issues, not to clear complete blockages.
Can I use RootX in toilets?
Only follow the product label. In general, a 2 lb treatment kit may be used through a toilet when labels and instructions allow, while 4 lb treatments are intended for use through a cleanout or appropriate access point and should not be flushed through a toilet.
Is Grease-X a replacement for regular cleaning or pumping?
No. Grease-X is meant to support an overall maintenance program. Mechanical cleaning and septic pumping should still be performed as needed according to local requirements and professional recommendations.
